We Photo Tomato once again….

Another August, another Tomato Art Festival in East Nashville. Despite the economy, the heat index (well over 100 degrees) and the flooding that occurred in May, this festival was one of the biggest yet, five streets closed off in the five points. Now in it’s seventh year, the festival celebrates all things tomato, but especially art inspired by tomatoes. Seven years of tomatoes??? Yes!! and the art just keeps getting better, it’s really amazing.

Aerial Innovations of TN, Inc. has photographed the festival for four years which gives us an opportunity to see almost every event. This year five photographers, Wendy, Will, Lindsay, Erin & husband Jason took to the streets to capture over 2000 images. We have edited it down to about 500 and are in the process of production and uploading them to flickr…stay tuned!

Here are a few edits to whet your tomato-appetite~!
